1. Eligibility

Each applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicants who are expected to graduate from high school or obtain their GED before the end of the 10-week course may apply, but will not receive a certificate from Gwinnett Dental Career Academy until they have shown proof of their high school diploma or GED.

2. Application

The application includes biographical information, references, and a personal statement.

Applicants must submit and online application form and pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.  A copy of the applicant’s high school diploma can be mailed or emailed to info@gdcaweb.com.

Our classes are usually completely full, we can not accept everyone who applies.
It is best to apply early to secure your spot in the class.

3. Review Process

Applicants may be asked to interview either by phone or in person.

The purpose of the interview is to evaluate characteristics such as interest and attitude and to review biographical information such as academics, work experiences and career goals.

4. Acceptance & Tuition

Once you receive the Acceptance Letter to the Dental Assistant Program, you will be directed to:

Sign the Student Contract
Pay the Initial Deposit
Download the Student Handbook / Course Catalog
Pay the Tuition balance before the first class.
